Welcome to the Newport International Kite Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Newport Int'l Kite Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Newport International Kite Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.

Newport International Kite Festival
Taking full advantage of its flat, open and windy setting, Brenton Point State Park hosts the annual Newport Kite Festival. Competitions are held in various categories including Fighter Kites, Sport Kites, Ground Displays and Rokako Battles.
